Communicating Ideas
Important Note
You will see that the following communication strategy is based on a completely different question than the one seen in the Miro board. This is because my interests have drastically changed from the ones I had at the beginning of the term.
Initial Question
How will the implementation of AI, Big Data, and IoT will change and shape the way we interact with the hardware of the future?
Personal Brand
1. Brand Personality
- Innovative: Always on the cutting edge, seeking out new possibilities and solutions.
- Insightful: Deeply understanding technology and its impact on the future.
- Accessible: Despite the complexity of the technologies, you communicate in a way that's engaging and understandable to all.
2. Core Values
- Innovation: Commitment to continuous improvement and pioneering new solutions.
- Integrity: Transparency in processes, research, and development.
- Collaboration: Belief in the power of working together with experts, communities, and stakeholders to achieve the best outcomes.
- Sustainability: Ensuring that technological advancements contribute to a more sustainable and equitable world.
3. Vision
"To revolutionize the way humans interact with technology, making future hardware seamlessly intuitive and personalized, thereby enhancing daily life and propelling society forward."
4. Purpose
"To harness the power of AI, Big Data, and IoT to create technologies that solve real-world problems, improve efficiency, and open up new possibilities for human-machine interaction."
5. Tone of Voice
- Educational but Engaging: Provide valuable information in a way that captivates your audience's interest.
- Inspiring: Encourage your audience to imagine the possibilities of the future.
- Professional yet Approachable: While your project is tech-heavy, your communication should be accessible to non-experts.
In crafting my project's brand identity, it's important to ensure consistency across all communications, from my own website to social media, presentations, and beyond. This consistency will help build recognition and trust with my audience. To do it it will be necessary to develop a proper communication strategy.
Communication Strategy
Given the visionary nature of my project, the communication strategy to follow should be focused on educating, inspiring, and gathering support from a wide range of stakeholders, including potential investors, industry experts, potential collaborators, and future customers.
1. Objectives
- Educate the audience about the potential and importance of AI, Big Data, and IoT in shaping future hardware interactions.
- Inspire by showcasing innovative possibilities and the project’s potential impact on various industries and daily life.
- Attract partners, investors, and talent by positioning your project as a cutting-edge initiative.
- Build a community of enthusiasts and potential users interested in the development and eventual product launch.
2. Target Stakeholders
- Tech Industry Experts and Innovators: For insights, collaborations, and endorsements.
- Investors: To secure funding for development.
- Potential Customers: To generate early interest and feedback to develop a product.
- Product and Hardware designers and students: The ones that will create the products of the future.
- Academic Institutions: For research partnerships and possibility of phd.
4. Media Channels and Content Strategy
- Social Media Campaigns (LinkedIn for professional engagement, Twitter for real-time updates, and Instagram for visual storytelling): Sharing insights and progress updates.
- Interactive Webinars and Online Workshops: Hosting sessions on the future of technology and my project’s role in it, encouraging engagement and interacting with others.
- "Email" Newsletters (A ChatGPT idea that it's not bad to be honest): Regular updates to my network on LinkedIn with behind-the-scenes looksand advancements.
Content Marketing (When the idea is tangible)
- Educational Blog Posts: Discussing the importance of AI, Big Data, and IoT in future hardware developments.
- Case Studies or Concept Explorations (Similar to powar in the education field): Demonstrating potential applications and the impact of your technology.
Given the early stage of the project, my communication strategy should focus on building a strong foundation of interest and support, positioning it favorably for when it's ready to develop and launch a product. Engage the audience not just as passive receivers but as active participants in a shared vision for the future of technology.
